COVID-19

First and foremost, we wish those who have been directly impacted by COVID-19 the best and a speedy recovery for them or their loved ones.  We also want to thank you for your continued support especially during these unprecedented times of uncertainty.

At this time, we will remain open for our normal hours and would love to have you in for a pint and a sandwich.  It is a very tough time for small businesses in our city and we encourage you to support small business as you can.  If you feel more comfortable staying home, our beer is available in crowlers and food is available to go.  And please remember, a portion of the sale of TGS beer can go to causes particularly impacted by the current situation.

Both food service and brewing beer require very clean, sanitary environments.  We always take cleaning and sanitization very seriously, but have reviewed those practices and enhanced as needed per CDC guidelines.  Below is more information about what we are doing at the brewery to keep a clean and sanitary environment, ordinarily and in these extraordinary circumstances.

Keeping Safe at The Good Society

As mentioned above, because of our lines of business, cleanliness and sanitation are paramount and we take it very seriously.  Many of the basics the CDC are recommending are things we practice daily; frequent hand washing, the use of gloves, frequent cleansing and sanitization of surfaces, etc.  We have reviewed our normal practices and enhanced some to frequently sanitize often touched surfaces such as door handles and handrails.  We have also installed hand sanitizer dispensers by the front door and the door to bathroom hall.

These are additional and temporary steps we are taking to keep a clean and sanitary environement:

  • Moved self-service items (forks, knives, napkins, water station) behind the bar to limit the amount of touches they receive.
  • Removed the toys in the kid’s area.
  • Finally, we have suspended the filling of outside containers, growlers being the most common example.

Please continue to wash your hands, cover your cough, and stay healthy.  Be kind and considerate to each other and if you’re not well, stay home, get well, and we will see you soon.  We got this Seattle.  We will get through it together.
